• We create websites that integrate with your existing accounting package!

Already have a website? Our Online Order system can be integrated with it.

With online shopping quickly becoming a standard method for consumers to purchase goods and services, your Website is an essential component in achieving success and strong growth in Business-to-Consumer (B2C) and Business-to-Business (B2B) e-commerce environments.

With ecomlink Website integration, customer and product information is automatically managed from your accounting system. Your website will display live pricing and stock levels that change as updates occur so customers are provided with essential and up-to-date information.

By managing the data input process from your internal accounting application once, your Website will greatly increase the speed of data exchange, resulting in improved customer service, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Before using ecomlink our website was slow and frustrating to use for both customers and staff - our previous supplier seemed incapable of providing the service we needed. Since switching to ecomlink there has been a significant improvement and we haven’t had a single complaint.” - Industrial Stationers

Your Website Needs SEO and Accessibility!

The websites we create include both!

    SEO

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) helps to position your website as best as is possible in search result pages on search engines. It is necessary for your website to have content and keywords that will help your website to rank as high as possible in search results. An independent US study found that 68% of users click results in the first page, and only 8% of users look at results beyond the third page.

    Accessibility!

Accessibility is an important, but often forgotten, part of your website. An accessible website assists people with disabilities, and other groups that may have difficulty using the web, to use and interact with your web site by; including hidden code to assist with usability; reducing the complexity of the site; or providing alternatives. In fact, under current Australian law, your website must conform to level A of the W3C guidelines (WCAG 1.0) for accessibility.

    Static Web Sites

Also known as "Brochure Sites" due to the fact that the content is static like a printed brochure.

The Brochure Site is designed to ‘brand’ your business, and inform your customers about your products and services. It provides a professional look and feel to inspire confidence and is a first point of contact where potential customers can find out about you, where you are located, and your contact information. You use it to build your company image and customer confidence so they take the next step to contact you about your products and/or services.

You can include photos, downloadable forms, documents, and product brochures.

Our website is a classic example of a static web site.

    Dynamic Web Sites

These are web sites with content that changes, or is updated, regularly. They may provide all the information that a static web site does, plus they have the ability to regularly update or add new content.

Typical uses can be providing news, a web log ( blog ), forums, opportunities to leave comments, polls, and much more.

Dynamic web sites do require a certain amount of work to manage, but if the web site is designed around a Content Mangement System such as Joomla, Wordpress, Drupal, Textpattern, or one of the hundreds of others, it is a reasonably easy task.

    E-Commerce Web Sites

E-commerce web sites can be utilised in two basic ways.

One, you can sell products and services directly to any person that arrives at your site, and take payment using a payment gateway, or a payment service such as PaylPal or PayMate.

Two, you can use them to take orders for your products and services from your existing account customers, by providing them with a username and password to log in with. The order then just becomes part of your normal process cycle and you bill as you normally do. example - Industrial Stationers

    Web Site Benefits

Having a web presence will give you an extra advertising method for your business. Also a branded web address will project a more professional image.

For example, if your business name is 'Joes Garage', a web address of 'www.joes-garage.com.au' will look more professional than 'joesgarage.somehosting.com.au'. It also advertises your business every time you give out your email address as you could use 'service@joes-garage.com.au' which mirrors your web address and business name.
