These are web sites with content that changes, or is updated, regularly. They may provide all the information that a static web site does, plus they have the ability to regularly update or add new content.

Dynamic web sites do require a certain amount of work to manage, but if the web site is designed around a Content Mangement System such as Joomla, Wordpress, Drupal, Textpattern, or one of the hundreds of others, it is a reasonably easy task.

E-commerce websites can be utilised in two basic ways.
One, you can sell products and services directly to any person that arrives at your site, and take payment using a payment gateway, or a payment service such as PaylPal or PayMate.
